In celebration of Nature’s Path Foods‘ recent donation of toaster pastries and other breakfast foods to Big City Mountaineers’ summer programs, we are happy to share:
THE GREATEST TOASTER PASTRY PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH RECIPE OF ALL TIME
2 toaster pastries, any flavor (I like strawberry)
1 jar peanut butter
1 knife or other utensil for spreading
1. Unwrap toaster pastries.
2. Spread peanut butter on non-frosted side of both toaster pastries.
3. Introduce toaster pastries to each other on peanut-butter sides.
If you’re at home and near a toaster, you can of course toast the pastries in between steps No. 1 and No. 2.
Thanks to Nature’s Path’s generous donation of 92 boxes of 12 toaster pastries each, we have 1104 toaster pastries — that’s potentially 552 toaster pastry peanut butter sandwiches out on the trail this summer.
Nature’s Path also donated 92 ECO PACs of EnviroKidz Cereal, 138 boxes of granola and 230 boxes of oatmeal, pretty much covering our breakfast needs for the summer. A big thank you to the folks at Nature’s Path!
