We’ve found a partner for some “giving tree” fundraising this holiday season. Revolution Cleaners also donated cleaning services for all of BCM’s Colorado gear this fall.

Revolution Cleaners To Raise Money For Denver Nonprofit With ‘Giving Trees’
Denver, CO – Revolution Cleaners, Denver’s only truly environmentally friendly dry cleaner, will raise money for Denver nonprofit Big City Mountaineers (BCM) through a Giving Tree program this holiday season. Starting November 23, customers at Revolution Cleaners’ locations in Highlands, Platte, Washington Park, Cherry Creek and Boulder will be able to contribute to BCM by purchasing an ornament off the Giving Tree, and help BCM achieve its mission of “enhancing the lives of under-resourced urban teens through transformative outdoor experiences.”
- Purchase of a $5 ornament from the Giving Tree will pay for a pair of socks, a compass, hand sanitizer, two safety whistles, sunscreen, batteries, bug spray, sunglasses, journals, two gallons of gas, or stuff sacks for a week-long Big City Mountaineers backpacking trip.
- A $10 ornament pays for a one-day outdoor adventure for a teen
- A $20 ornament keeps the lights on, or the heat on, in Big City Mountaineers’ offices.
- A $35 ornament supports one teen for one day of their week-long backcountry expedition in summer 2010
